Your careers page
Turn on a public page that lists your open jobs, so people can apply online.
Your careers page is a public job board for your company. People can read your open jobs and apply without signing in.
Who can do this
Owners, admins and members. Viewers see the page's state but cannot change it: they see You do not have permission to change this.
Before you start
The page lists only jobs that are open and have a description. Draft, paused and closed jobs are not shown. See Post a job.
Steps
- Open Recruitment and choose Careers Page.
- Turn on Public careers page.
- Read Make your open jobs public? and click Make public. Anyone with the link can then see your open jobs, and they can appear in search engines.
- Click Preview to see the page as visitors do. It opens in a new tab.
- Click Copy link to copy the page's address, ready to share.
- Under Page branding, fill in a Headline (up to 80 characters) and a Tagline (up to 160 characters). Click Save. If you leave the headline blank, the page shows Join our team.
- Under Job listings, click Publish to open a job, or Unpublish to close it. Unpublish closes the job everywhere, not just on this page: it shows as closed in Jobs too.
To take the page down, turn Public careers page off. Your jobs are not changed.
Common problems
- A job is missing from the page. Check that it is open and has a description. The Settings screen tells you how many open jobs have no description.
- Turn the careers page on to preview it or copy the link. Preview and Copy link only work while the page is on.
- Applications closed. A job past its closing date stays on the page, but shows Applications closed.
- Add a description before opening this job. Publish opens the job, so it needs a description first.
- Not available yet. Page views, Applies, Conversion and the charts on this screen are not built yet.
- Not available in the demo. The demo workspace cannot have a public careers page, so the switch is off and this screen shows a sample.
