Join a workspace from an invite

Open an invite link to join your team's onhr workspace, with a new account or the one you have.

An invite link lets you join someone else's workspace. You join with the role they chose for you.

Who can do this

The person the invite was made for. The link works only for the email address it was created for, and for 7 days.

Before you start

You need the invite link. onhr does not email it: the owner or admin who invited you sends it to you themselves.

Steps

Join with a new account

  1. Open the invite link. The page shows Join and the workspace name, with the Workspace, Invited email and Role.
  2. Keep Create my account selected.
  3. Enter your Full name and a Password of at least 8 characters. The email is filled in from the invite.
  4. Click Create account and join followed by the workspace name.

If onhr asks you to check your email, open the confirmation link in that email. It brings you back to the invite, signed in. Click Join followed by the workspace name to finish.

Join with an account you already have

  1. Open the invite link.
  2. Click I already have an account.
  3. Enter your Password and click Sign in and join followed by the workspace name.

If you use two-step sign-in, enter the code from your app. You then come back to the invite to join.

If you are already signed in with the invited email, the page shows one button, Join followed by the workspace name. Click it.

When you have joined, onhr opens AI Assistant, the home screen of the workspace.

Switch between workspaces

If you belong to more than one workspace, open the account menu (your name, top right) and click Profile & Preferences, then Home in the side menu. Under Workspaces, click Switch next to the one you want. The workspace you are in is marked Current.

Common problems

  • You are signed in as …, but this invite is for …. Sign out, then open it again with that email. Click Sign out, then open the invite again and sign in with the invited email.
  • You are browsing as a demo guest. Click Sign out to leave the demo, then join.
  • This invite has expired. Ask the person who invited you for a new link. Links work for 7 days.
  • This invite was cancelled. Ask the person who invited you for a new link. The invite was revoked.
  • This invite has already been accepted. Sign in to open the workspace. Sign in as usual.
  • This invite link is not valid. Check that you copied the whole link. Copy the full link again.
  • An account with this email already exists. Choose "I already have an account" to sign in. Use I already have an account.
  • Incorrect password, or there is no account for this email yet. If you are new, choose "Create my account". Check your password, or create an account.
  • Confirm your email address first: open the link we emailed you, then come back to this invite to join. Open the confirmation email first.
