Timesheet

Record the hours you worked each day, and the billable part, for this week and last week.

The Timesheet shows hours worked per day for one week, Monday to Sunday, and how many of them were billable.

Who can do this

  • Anyone linked to an employee record can type their own hours for this week and last week, for days that have already come.
  • Owners and admins can type hours for any active employee, for any day that has come.
  • Managers also see the rows of the people who report to them, to read.

Before you start

Your account must be linked to your employee record.

Steps

  1. Open HR, then Timesheet under Attendance.
  2. Use the arrows or This week to pick the week.
  3. In your row, type the hours in the box for each day. Type the billable hours in the small box under it.
  4. Leave a day empty to clear it.
  5. Click Save hours. To throw your changes away instead, click Discard.

Hours go from 0 to 24 in steps of half an hour. Billable hours cannot be more than the hours.

Common problems

  • "You can record your own hours for this week and last week only. Ask an owner or admin to correct an older week."
  • "Hours can't be recorded for a day that hasn't happened yet."
  • "Hours must be 0 to 24 in steps of half an hour, and billable hours no more than the hours."
  • "You can only record your own hours."
