Change your password and sign out other devices
Set a new password for your onhr account, and sign out everywhere except the browser you are using.
You change your password on the Security page. The same page lets you sign out of every other device.
Who can do this
Every signed-in person can change their own password, whatever their role. Demo guests cannot: the demo has no password.
Steps
Change your password
- Open the account menu (your name, top right) and choose Change Password. Or go to Security.
- Under Password, enter your Current password.
- Enter a New password of at least 8 characters, and type it again in Confirm new password.
- Click Update password.
When you see Password updated., your other devices are signed out. You stay signed in on this browser. onhr also sends you a notification that your password was changed.
Sign out other devices
- On the Security page, find Sessions.
- Next to Other devices, click Sign out other devices.
You see Signed out of all other devices. This browser stays signed in.
Common problems
- Your current password is incorrect. Check the current password. If you have forgotten it, sign out and use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
- New password must be at least 8 characters. Choose a longer password.
- The new passwords do not match. Type the same new password in both boxes.
- Password updated. Your other devices could not be signed out; use "Sign out other devices" below. The password changed, but older sessions are still open. Click Sign out other devices.
