Ask the assistants

Where to ask onhr's AI assistants a question, and how the free weekly questions work.

onhr has an AI assistant for your whole business, and one for each product. You ask them in plain words.

Who can do this

Every signed-in person, whatever their role. In the demo workspace the assistants give sample answers instead of real ones.

Where to ask

  • AI Assistant, the home screen, is where you talk to onhr Assistant (onhr Assistant): one assistant for your whole business.
  • Ask onhr Assistant, the button at the bottom of product screens, opens the same assistant beside the screen you are on.
  • Each product's Overview screen has its own assistant card:
    • Marketing, your CMO: win new leads with AI ads
    • CRM, your sales co-pilot: manage and close your pipeline
    • HR, your HR co-pilot: build and manage your team
    • Recruitment, your hiring lead: recruit and hire your next team
    • Finance, your CFO: accounting and SST

Steps

  1. Open AI Assistant, click Ask onhr Assistant, or open a product's Overview screen.
  2. Type your question in the box.
  3. Press Enter, or click the send button next to the box.

Free questions

Until your workspace adds its own OpenRouter key, each person gets 3 free questions a week. They are shared across all the assistants. They reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC.

Each chat shows how many are left, for example 2 of 3 free questions left this week.

A free question also has limits:

  • The assistant only sees the last few messages of the chat.
  • It can carry one small file, up to 2 MB.

When the free questions are used up, chat stops until next week, or until an owner or admin adds a key. See Add your OpenRouter key.

Common problems

  • You have used your 3 free questions this week. Wait until next week, or ask an owner or admin to add an OpenRouter key.
  • Ask a workspace owner or admin to add an OpenRouter key to keep chatting. Members and viewers cannot add the key themselves.
  • A free question can carry one small file (up to 2 MB). Add your OpenRouter key to attach more. Send a smaller file, or one file at a time.
